TV personality Kelly Osbourne recently shared an adorable photo on Instagram, giving fans their first glimpse of her baby boy. In the picture, Kelly is seen with her brother Jack Osbourne, who looked overjoyed to be spending time with his sister and nephew on the set of their new reality show “Home to Roost”.
Honoring the Special Bond Between Uncle and Nephew
Kelly captioned the post with a beautiful quote by Irene Banks, celebrating the bond between uncles and their nieces or nephews. She wrote, “An uncle is a blessing. It means so many things words could never tell. The joy an uncle brings is a bond of faith that even time can’t sever. A gift to last all of our lives. An uncle is forever.”
Kelly’s Motherhood Journey
Kelly and her boyfriend, Said Wilson, welcomed their baby boy near the end of 2022, but the 37-year-old has kept her motherhood journey largely private. However, she recently spoke out in a candid Instagram post after going back to work, praising working mothers for their ability to balance their families and careers.
“I have a newfound respect for working mothers,” Kelly wrote. “I took my first job since having a baby, and having to leave him this morning was one of the hardest things I have ever done. This day can’t go by quickly enough for me. I can’t wait to have him back in my arms.”
A Big Step Toward Parenthood
Kelly announced her pregnancy last May and celebrated another milestone just days later, marking one year of sobriety. In an interview with Access Hollywood back in 2020, Kelly and Jack revealed that she definitely wanted kids and that being sober was a big step toward making that happen.
Making it Work as a New Mom
Despite the challenges of balancing motherhood and a career, Kelly seems to be making it work. In a recent interview, she revealed how she managed to bring her nieces and nephew to the set of “Home to Roost” in their pajamas, all while juggling her own baby’s needs.
“I had to come with all three girls. The kids were asleep. I’m like, ‘Get in the car,'” Kelly recalled. “Jack didn’t have anyone to watch his beautiful kids, so we brought them to our set in their PJs. I somehow managed to grab her and get her in her fresh diaper. Pearl got herself ready, Andy wouldn’t get out of bed, so I had to pull water on her.”
